Color. It’s the most fascinating way to look at the world. A subtle change in hue or value can completely change the whole story. Color is how I express myself as an artist but how I translate my whimsical imaginations into blank pages. My family moved a lot when I was young. I had to learn a new language, make new friends and get used to foreign culture. However, a sketchbook and a handful of color pencils and markers were always with me. Since I never liked writing, keeping a daily diary was never promising yet I would always draw something everyday. As one would choose a word to make a sentence, I pick a color. As one would listen to somber music or read a thrilling novel, I want to capture an emotion and tell a story through color. .
